Getting started

HostEdge is hosting built for AI agents: ask your assistant to deploy static sites and Workers apps, or do it yourself. Every deployment gets its own URL, production lives at <project>.hostedge.app, and custom domains get HTTPS automatically.

Deploy in about a minute#

Pick whichever is closest to what you have:

  1. Your AI assistant. Connect it over MCP, add the Agent kit so it knows how HostEdge works, and ask it to deploy. It uploads the files, reads the logs and can roll back. See AI assistants.
  2. A GitHub repository. Choose Import from GitHub, install the HostEdge app on the account that owns the repository, and pick it. Every push to the production branch deploys; every other branch gets a preview. See GitHub.
  3. The CLI. npx hostedge login then npx hostedge deploy in your project. See CLI.
  4. A template. Static HTML, a waitlist page, Astro, Next.js (static export), Eleventy, Vite (plain, React, Vue or Svelte), a Hono API and an API with a database deploy in one click, which shows the pipeline end to end.
  5. The dashboard. Choose Deploy a site and drop your files (or a .zip) onto the page. HostEdge detects the framework, uploads only the files it doesn't have yet, and streams the build log.

What you get with every project#

  • A production URL, https://<project>.hostedge.app, that always points at the current production deployment.
  • An immutable URL per deployment, https://<project>--<id>.hostedge.app, so you can open any old version.
  • A preview URL per branch, https://<project>--git-<branch>.hostedge.app, that follows the branch's latest deployment.
  • Build and runtime logs, request analytics, encrypted environment variables and up to 100 custom domains depending on your plan.
