Acceptable use policy

HostEdge is for publishing your own sites and apps. To keep it safe for everyone, you may not use it to host, send or enable:

Not allowed#

  • Phishing and credential theft — pages that imitate another company or person to collect passwords, payment details or wallet recovery phrases.
  • Malware — code that infects, takes over or drains visitors' devices or crypto wallets, including drive-by downloads and obfuscated loaders.
  • Spam and deception — doorway pages, SEO spam, fake shops, scams.
  • Illegal content — including child sexual abuse material, content that infringes copyright or trademarks, and anything that breaks the law where you or your visitors are.
  • Harassment and harm — doxxing, threats, incitement to violence.
  • Abusing the platform — attacking other systems from HostEdge, mining cryptocurrency, routing around plan limits with many accounts, or overloading the service.

How we enforce it#

New free accounts' first sites are checked automatically for phishing and malware and may wait for a person to review them. When we find or are told about a site that breaks these rules, we suspend it (visitors see that it's unavailable), tell the owner why, and may close the account. Serious or repeated cases are closed without warning.

Reporting#

Report a site with the report form. A person reads every report. We don't tell site owners who reported them.
